Likely one of the few properties of this size in western Canada to have sole access to a 3 km private lake. So many recreational activities are available on this beautiful 600-acre ranch property stretches across one side of the private Spring Lake. Consists of five titles. The property is south facing and gently slopes towards the lake. Year-round gravity flow water is supplied to all the buildings and livestock. 150 acres in alfalfa/grass production which you can harvest yourself or hire a contractor and split the hay to keep or sell. Most of the land is zone agricultural. The land around the five homes is zoned educational as we had considered starting an international English school years ago.

 

Lake

3 km long by 1.1 km at the widest gently slopes from the shore and is 150 ft deep at the centre. 100 foot floating dock. Enjoy swimming, boating, paddle boarding and fishing in the summer; skating and fishing in the winter.

Five homes (the farm house and 4 other log homes); two barns (one livestock with hayloft and a 40'x100' hay barn); 20’x40’ greenhouse, heated with wood furnace with a labyrinth of rocks to keep the it warm for hours; six small cabins without electricity; 100'x17' mechanics and wood work shop & games room, washrooms with showers and laundry; and a small horse tack barn.

Second floor: Primary bedroom with windows overlooking the lake with 3 piece bathroom. Four bedrooms plus room for small office. Bathroom.

3 bedrooms (1 on main & 2 on upper floor), kitchen, 2 bathrooms each with shower (1 up and 1 down), 2 sitting areas (1 up & 1 down), wood stove with glass window and electric heat, mudroom. Upper porch overlooking the lake & ranch. Covered deck area for a picnic table.

The two floors could be connected as one residence by adding a staircase. Wood heated hot tub steps away.
